Catalin is 13 years old. This little angel in the first month of his life got sick with purulent meningitis. It seriously affected his nervous system and as a result he was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis and psychomotor retardation. There followed 13 years of constant crying, sleepless and painful nights. The drugs and medications were not very helpful. We made countless treatments, underwent physical rehabilitation, consulted many doctors and still had no positive results. Doctors do not know how to help him, they advised me to create as much as possible, proper conditions for a happy childhood. At the age of 13, the boy physically corresponds to his age, but in other respects he behaves like a newborn. He cannot move independently, is bedridden and in constant need of diapers. He is also fed like a newborn; he is not able to chew his food, a fact that causes many other problems. Fate was merciless with us. Catalin’s 5 years younger brother died, I am a widow, and try to do my best for my children Catalin and Doinitsa in the absence of a father. We need your help to buy medicines that are expensive (and, unfortunately, not included in the list of insured and free ones), diapers (at least 5 units per day for adults), special food, because the boy cannot eat everything.
