Hello, my name is Galina, I am 35 years old and I am the mother of two wonderful children. I was diagnosed with a rare disease: Ankylosing spondylitis. This disease affects the lumbar spine and joints, and, unfortunately, the doctors told me that it spreads throughout the whole spine. Now I walk with difficulty, my children try to help me and all this situation makes me very sad. I was informed that the disease progresses very rapidly and I risk being immobilized to bed. The solution is an urgent surgery. This surgery is very complicated and risky and, unfortunately, it can only be made abroad. The cost of the surgery is huge and I'm very scared that i will spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair, that my children will see how I suffer daily with unbearable pain. Therefore, I turn with great hopes to people of goodwill. Please help me recover, help me overcome this disease, because, unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is too high for my family and we have no one to lend us such a large sum of money. I am desperate, but hope gives me the strength to live and fight for my live.
