A message from his mother:

Greetings, people of goodwill. Once again, we are on our knees and powerless in the fight against our little boy's rare condition: Hypophosphatemic Rickets (XHL). Marin-Madalin was a normal child until he started walking. That's when we noticed his legs deforming, and his physical development slowed down. At the age of 5, he weighed and looked like a 2-year-old child. Hospitals became our second home for nearly 5 years. Thankfully, we had the opportunity to seek consultation abroad, where we learned about the diagnosis and treatment that could help him recover. Unfortunately, we discovered this treatment too late, and it was very difficult to access. As a result, we had to undergo surgery due to severe leg deformities. However, we couldn't succeed without your help and support. Many kind-hearted people came to our aid and supported us. Now, we are on the verge of despair, as Marin-Madalin needs to undergo a second surgery. The costs exceed our capabilities. We sincerely implore you to help us once again. In our country, there is no treatment available for the condition Madalin suffers from. Even the medications we struggle to obtain from abroad are no longer produced, forcing us to search for new solutions that could help us, also abroad. Without medications, the bones deform, and the whole body suffers. Madalin is a bright and lively child, and we earnestly request your support so that his smile never fades.

Thank you for any help and support you provide to my son.
