Good afternoon, my name is Livia Rusu, I'm from Chisinau and ask for your assistance. Ovidiu is our son, who suffered greatly since the day he was born. He was born at 41th week, weighing 3310 g, having a height of 52 cm long, but he did not breath. Ovidiu was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit, where he breathed artificially for 8 days. A month later he was discharged and since then every month we visit various rehabilitation centers, but without any positive results. He ate with a special probe up to 2 months, at 3 months he began to hold his head and even leaned on his hands, but at 4 months he began to have seizures, his condition worsened, and at the age of 6 months he was diagnosed with the West Syndrome (a form of epilepsy). Since then he undergoes special treatment, epileptic seizures have ceased, but the child does not develop, he is mentally and physically retarded. Now when he is 1 year and 11 months old he cannot hold his head, cannot turn, cannot stand or focus his eyesight.
