Greetings. From the very beginning, I would like to ask for your help and support. My mother was diagnosed with third degree coxarthrosis (arthrosis of the hip joint) - a total dislocation of the bone and cartilage, which requires an endoprosthesis - replacement of a part of the joint with a prosthesis. Such a serious illness occurs as a result of lifting weights and as a result of a heavy load on the joints (my mother works as a technical manager in a school). Over the past six months, she has been walking with great difficulty and only with crutches, and the basic treatment that can be prescribed at the moment is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory sedatives that help her to cope with pain while waiting for prosthetic surgery. We managed to consult and undergo examinations in several clinics - all the doctors believe that conservative treatment is not applicable to her and the only solution is the surgery. The queue for prosthetics is several years, and I am afraid that my mother will not survive until the surgery: her pain is unbearable, and painkillers cannot be taken constantly - they destroy the kidneys and the liver. The cost of the surgery consists of the price of the prosthesis, it is made in the USA and is very expensive, and a quarter of the amount is the cost of the surgery itself. For a pre-surgery examination (analysis, imaging, scanning of capillaries, veins, etc.), a small amount is required and with the help of family and friends, we raised it, but the actual surgery is about 3,000 euros. Unfortunately for us, this is a huge sum of money, our parents live in a small house and survive thanks to growing fruits and vegetables in a small garden. We hope this message reached all the people who care and we sincerely ask for your support.
