An Appreciation Award That Belongs to All of Us: Roland Tseber, President of the European CoWith deepest gratitude,
There are days when you realize why all of this matters. From the very first hours of the war in 2022, the Caritate.md foundation rushed to help those fleeing across the border: with frightened children in their arms and their entire previous lives packed into a single bag. Thanks to you, we raised over a million lei in record time. Every single leu then turned into food, medicine, essentials, transport, a roof over people's heads, and the firm reassurance that they were not alone, they were not abandoned.
The other day, we hosted Roland Tseber, President of the European Coalition in Ukraine. He presented our foundation with a certificate of appreciation for our assistance to Ukrainian refugees. Receiving such awards is deeply moving, but this is far from being just our achievement. It is a shared victory. It belongs to everyone who donated money. Everyone who shared a post. Every volunteer who stayed up through the night. Everyone who still carries a living, compassionate heart capable of responding to someone else's pain.
We were just the hands that delivered the help, but it was your hearts that made it beat. Years will pass, and the numbers and details of specific trips will fade from memory, but the main thing will remain forever: when people needed help, human compassion triumphed in Moldova. This diploma rightfully belongs to you, our dear donors. Our deepest gratitude to you for walking shoulder-to-shoulder with us all this time and for continuing to trust us with what matters most.
With warmth and gratitude,
The Caritate.md Team
