On 05/23/2013 he was injured by a taxi driver at a pedestrian crossing. Vova was in his grandmother's arms, I was near them and we were crossing the road. The taxi driver was driving at high speed and did not see us. As a result of this accident, grandmother broke her collarbone and arm, Vova fell on the car, after which the taxi driver smashed a banner and Vova fell on the road. After this strike, he fell into a coma and stopped breathing. The diagnosis was: bilateral cerebral hemorrhage, fracture of the auricle, fracture of the clavicle, bruises of the internal organs, multiple brain hematomas and fracture of the skull. Vova is the only child who survived with such traumas. Doctors told us that he will not wake from the coma and that people with such traumas simply do not live. But after 4 months Vova slowly began to recover, now he is 10 years old, but he is like a newborn child: he does not keep his head, he does not breathe, he can not swallow. Therefore, we had to establish a gastrostomy and tracheostomy in Germany. At the moment we are not sitting, we are not talking. Vova has already undergone more than 40 surgeries, bypass, brain decompression, endoscopy and unfortunately the skull was broken and we had to replace it with plastic. But we do not lose hope of curing our sun. After we started visiting the rehabilitation center, Vovka began to feel much better, but unfortunately the amount of payment for rehabilitation is not affordable for us. Children with such injuries require very expensive medical equipment, many drugs that we do not find in Moldova, diapers, permanent brain examinations that are done in private clinics, special food that we buy from Italy and Germany, and the cost of one h bottle is 10 euros.
