Maria Sofroni is 23 years old and she is immobilized in a wheelchair, and her boyfriend Marin Andronache, who is 20 years old, learn to take his first steps using a precursor. The young people said it was love at first sight and they dream to have a family together. The young woman is in the wheelchair since childhood and lives with her parents in the village of Dumbrăviţa, Singerei district. Her boyfriend, a year ago, has undergone two surgeries and managed to avoid the wheelchair. He is the recipient of a social house in Falesti. Because of the distance that separates them and because they lack money, Marin and Maria see each other every three months. In order to make these encounters possible they manufacture and sell handmade items. "We have to pay 600 lei for a taxi. So for two, three months we work with hooks and needles to create various articles that we can sell and pay for the taxi" said Marin Andronache. Lovers are planning to marry. But they are forced to postpone the event because they have nowhere to live, and the money they make selling handmade articles are insufficient. "We want to get married, but first we need our own apartment," said Marin Andronache. Rejected by his parents, Marin is loved by the family of Maria, who blessed their marriage.
