A message from her father:

Hello, my name is Alexandru, and I am the father of twelve-year-old Elena. Not long ago, Elena was like any other child—full of plans, loving the simple things, and enjoying a carefree childhood. But on May 2, 2026, our world changed in a heartbeat.

Elena was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, a condition that suddenly robbed her legs of all strength. Since that day, my daughter has been paralyzed from the waist down and relies entirely on a wheelchair. As a father, it is heartbreaking beyond words to watch your child stuck in a chair where, just yesterday, she was running around free. But Elena refuses to quit.

She pours everything into her rehabilitation and physical therapy, pushing through every exercise and fighting for every bit of movement. Progress is slow, but to us, even the smallest sign of improvement is a major milestone. It keeps our hope alive. I believe with all my heart that my daughter deserves every chance to keep going, and that we owe it to her to do whatever it takes so that, one day, she can walk again.

Unfortunately, intensive therapy and long-term medical care are overwhelmingly expensive, and our family simply cannot afford them on our own. That is why I am turning to you today with an urgent plea for help. Every donation, every share, and every person who stands by us brings Elena one step closer to another therapy session, another milestone, and a real shot at recovery.
