A message from his mother:

Dear kind-hearted people,

My name is Cristina Soroceanu, and I am writing to you as a mother whose worst nightmare has become reality. My 22-year-old son, Nicu, is fighting a battle no one so young should ever have to face.

A devastating accident left Nicu with a severe traumatic brain injury. For six agonizing months—four in a coma and two in a vegetative state—our lives stood still. We lived on nothing but tears and the desperate prayer that we wouldn't lose him.

But miracles happen. Against the odds, Nicu is fighting his way back to us. Every blink, every small movement is a victory we once thought impossible. These are the answers to hundreds of prayers we’ve cried out on our knees.

However, the battle is far from won. To keep this miracle alive, Nicu urgently needs intensive rehabilitation. These treatments are incredibly expensive, and we have exhausted our family’s resources. It is the fight of his life, but he cannot win it alone.

We are asking you to stand with us. Any donation, no matter the size, is a lifeline. It is a blessing sent through you to save my son.

Dragii nostri, inainte de orice, vrem sa va spunem multumim. Multumim din toata inima pentru fiecare gand bun, fiecare donatie si fiecare pas facut alaturi de Nicu. Astazi, Nicu este la reabilitare. Nu este un drum usor, dar este un drum posibil datorita voua. Mama lui ne-a spus cu lacrimi in ochi cat de recunoscatoare este si ne-a rugat sa va transmitem ca fara oamenii cu suflet mare, fiul ei nu ar fi ajuns aici. Fiecare dintre voi a pus o caramida la aceasta sansa la viata. Sunteti  sprijin, speranta si putere atunci cand parea imposibil.

Din suflet, va multumim ca sunteti aproape.
