A message from mom: 

Greetings to all people of good will who read our story. My name is Ana and I have a little son named Samuel. He is now 4 years old and at high risk for autism, mental and verbal retardation, which is neuroinflammation that has affected the central nervous system. At the moment, he is behind in development, does not speak, only sometimes he can repeat a few words, partially understands what is being said to him, but cannot communicate. He is already 4 years old and he has never addressed me with the word MOM, and, frankly, I would really like that. He lives in his own world, he has his own interests, and for this reason, it is difficult to bring him back to reality. The fact that he can't be independent also scares me.

Thanks to the systematic efforts that we make every day, we are proud of our success, but the result is still far from normal. We have a chance for a normal life if we follow treatment at the Beer David Jewish Medical Center, which specializes in the treatment of this disease by eliminating neuroinflammation and dysregulations of the nervous system. By removing the problem holding him back, Samuel will be able to develop like other healthy children. But to solve all his problems, we will continue to work with specialists and create new skills and knowledge that will bear fruit, and we will have a child ready to live in this beautiful world - ready to go through wonderful moments in life such as education, years of personal development, and then to start his own family. But we have to undergo this treatment, which is very expensive for us and it is important to complete it before he reaches the age of six. The rapid recovery of learning abilities and skills largely depends on age, and we need your help to raise the necessary sum of money. Please help us in any way you can, we will be very grateful! I am sure that together we can give Samuel a fulfilling life. We are a caring, loving family with modest incomes, although we both work and the necessary medical expenses are a burden that we cannot overcome without the help of generous people.
