Good afternoon, my name is Natalia. More than anything in the world, I've always been afraid that something bad would happen to my parents. And suddenly my mother found out about this terrible diagnosis called lung cancer.... I'll tell you briefly how it all happened. In September, my mother felt ill, we made an MRI test on her head and found a tumor measuring 1.2 cm * 1.2 cm. We were recommended to repeat the MRI test in 3 months. However at the beginning of this month, my mother began to feel worse and we repeated the MRI test to discover that there were already two tumors each one measuring 2.1 * 2 cm. The doctors suggested cutting them off. While preparing for surgery, a picture of the lung showed that there is a tumor in the lung measuring 5.5 * 5 cm. The diagnosis was: lung cancer, which metastasized into the head. Today, the surgery was performed and the tumors were removed (trepanation). My mother is in intensive care unit, but the doctors say that everything went well. Now the main problem is to remove the tumor from the lung. According to doctor’s forecasts, it is necessary to remove the left lung, after which radiotherapy and chemotherapy sessions are required. We need to act quickly, because this tumor is mildly aggressive and we are afraid of a new metastasis… God forbid ... Chemotherapy is a very aggressive procedure and my mother is very week now after the surgery. We were offered treatment in Germany, including surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. We want our mother to be healthy and happy. She's still young. She have no grandchildren yet. We want to go to Germany as soon as possible. Now the doctors from the clinic in Berlin make an approximate estimate of the treatment based on the pictures I sent them. But the exact figure will be established after additional tests. Soon my mom will recover after the operation and we will immediately go to Germany, in approximately 2 weeks, because we must act quickly. The approximate amount of treatment 20 000 euros.
