The first foundation in Moldova dedicated to supporting grandmothers who are raising their grandchildren alone.

Dear donor, we invite you to support our "Grandmothers with a Mother’s Heart" project to ensure our help reaches every grandmother in need who is caring for her grandchildren.

Dear friends, for years, we have focused on helping sick children and families in crisis, but all the while, we have noticed a different group of unsung heroines—the grandmothers of Moldova. These are women who already raised their own children and were hoping for a quiet, well-earned retirement, only to be thrust back into the exhausting cycle of sleepless nights, constant worry, and the heavy burden of motherhood. They don't appear in the spotlight, they don't ask for help, and they only let their tears fall once the house is silent and their grandchildren are finally asleep. Many of these women are already in their seventies, yet they wake up every single morning and keep going because they know that if they were to give up, their grandchildren would be entirely alone. 

Today, we are launching our project, "Grandmothers with a Mother’s Heart," for every woman who has stepped up to raise a child when life left her no other choice. If you are in this position yourself, or if you know someone who is, please reach out and tell us your story; share what keeps you awake at night and what you fear most.

Their entire world rests on their shoulders, and yet it seems that no one ever stops to wonder if they have the strength to keep carrying that weight alone. We want you to know that you are not by yourself. Write to us, and together with our community, we will do everything in our power to improve your life. When parents are no longer in the picture, a grandmother becomes a child’s whole world, and we want to be there to support you through that journey. While we cannot promise miracles, we promise to do whatever we can to meet your needs, knowing that even the smallest help can become a child’s most cherished memory. Tell us about your grandchild’s dreams; perhaps together, we can give them a reason to believe in something wonderful and a genuine reason to smile. Reach out to us because we want to be your support system; you have spent your entire life caring for others, and now, it is finally our turn to take care of you.
