Dear people of good will,

I write these lines with a heavy heart, hoping that together we can bring a glimmer of hope to a tragedy that has struck my sister’s family. My nephew, a little boy just 5 years old—who should be enjoying games and the simple joys of childhood—is enduring unimaginable suffering. He has been diagnosed with mesenteric vessel thrombosis, necrosis with multiple perforations of the ileum, total sero-hemorrhagic fecaloid peritonitis, and mesadenitis. These severe conditions have already led to three surgeries, and doctors in Moldova have lost hope.

But there is still a chance, and it lies in Italy. Only there can he receive the life-saving treatment he so desperately needs. Unfortunately, the costs for transportation, surgeries, and medical care are overwhelming and far beyond the family’s means. In their desperation, his parents are placing their last hope in the kindness of others.

Any help, any donation, no matter how small, can bring this little boy closer to a chance at life. Let’s come together for him and be the helping hand that can save his childhood and future.
