A message from his mother:

Together we stand for Sebastian! A 4-year-old boy needs our support for a life free of pain. Shortly after birth, our family's life changed radically when we received a heartbreaking diagnosis: infantile cerebral palsy with severe spastic tetraparesis. Because of this cruel condition, Sebastian cannot walk, speak, sit up, or eat on his own. All four of his limbs are affected by extreme muscle stiffness (spasticity) that causes him severe pain. He needs me 24 hours a day, day and night, and I am his hands, legs, and voice.

We are a united family doing everything possible for him. Sebastian's father works tirelessly, but his income is not enough to cover the massive medical costs. Because I must stay by Sebastian's side at all times, I cannot work. A single salary is far too little to provide for a child with severe special needs.

The doctors have explained that through intensive, continuous rehabilitation (physical therapy and medical massage), Sebastian can relax his tense muscles, which will ease his pain and prevent bone deformity. Every day without therapy means steps backward and greater suffering for him.

In addition to treatments, daily expenses for diapers, underpads, and necessary medications completely exhaust us financially. We find ourselves forced to ask kind-hearted people for help to provide Sebastian with the daily therapies and care he needs for a more dignified, comfortable, and pain-free life.

Any donation, no matter how small, or simply sharing this story means an extra physical therapy session, a more relaxed muscle, a secured supply of diapers, and immense support for us.
