A message from his mother:

Greetings, my name is Catalina, and I am the mother of Stefanel, a 5-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Stefanel does not walk or speak, and I raise him alone, taking care of all his needs day after day. Right now, we are fighting for a chance that is something natural for other children: Stefanel's chance to learn to walk.

We need to raise funds for spine surgery and stem cell therapy, which have been recommended for him. For us, these procedures represent the hope that Stefanel could achieve significant progress. The amount we need is huge for me. I am alone with my child, and no matter how hard I try, I cannot raise this sum of money without the help of kind-hearted people.

I am not asking for myself. I am asking for a chance for my child. Stefanel has been through so much at such a young age, and I do not want to give up, nor do I want to deprive him of the possibility of taking his first steps one day. I am doing everything in my power, but right now I need people with big hearts to stand by our side. From the bottom of my heart, I ask you to help us raise the necessary amount and undergo the treatments.
