A message from his mother:

My name is Angela, and I am the mother of ten-year-old Cristian. My son cannot speak, but you can see in his eyes how much he wants to discover this world. He loves music, and when he smiles, it gives us the strength to keep going, no matter what.

Unfortunately, a severe birth trauma shattered my son’s normal life. The epileptic seizures started when he was one and ever since, his childhood has been a constant struggle to survive. Cristian has been diagnosed with drug-resistant epilepsy and Angelman syndrome. The illness prevents him from developing, and the seizures strike without warning. There is nothing more terrifying for a mother than to watch her child suffer and realize there is nothing she can do.

For years, we visited numerous hospitals, underwent endless tests, and tried one treatment after another. Here in our country, there is nothing more that can be done for us—all methods have been exhausted. Now, our last hope is an operation in Turkey. The doctors are giving us a chance to stop the seizures and finally give Cristian the opportunity to live a normal life. The surgery costs 28,000 euros. For our family, this is an impossible amount, but I believe that together, we can manage.

Please help us give Cristian a future without pain. We will be grateful for any help, for every prayer, and for every person who shares our story with others. May God reward you for your kindness!
