A message from the wife:

Dear kind people,

My heart is completely shattered as I write this.

My husband, Efim—our children's dad, our anchor, and our light—is gone.

Efim fought tooth and nail to stay, facing everything with unbelievable grace, faith, and humility. Now that he's gone, there's a void in our lives that nothing will ever fill.

The pain we're going through right now is beyond words.

On top of this heartbreak, our family is facing an impossible hurdle: getting Efim's body back home to Moldova from Bali so his loved ones can say goodbye properly.

Our kids were waiting for their daddy to come home, and now his parents are waiting for their son just to have a chance to say farewell. No parent should ever have to live through this.

So I am asking you from the bottom of my heart for help. Whatever you can spare brings us one step closer to bringing him home and laying him to rest with dignity.
