My name is Alina, and I am a mother of three daughters. Our youngest, Elena, is only six and a half years old, and she has autism. When we first received the diagnosis, our entire world was turned upside down. Suddenly, we were facing a life of pain, fear, and a constant struggle for her future.

We started working with specialists and started her rehabilitation, but unfortunately, we had to stop the sessions because we simply ran out of money. For a child like my daughter, every single day without therapy is a step backward - precious time that we can never get back.

Elena doesn't speak, she doesn't yet understand what is being said to her, and she still wears diapers. As a mother… I dream with all my heart of one day hearing the word "Mama." For her to recognize me, to call out to me… for us to finally be able to communicate. My only wish is that, with your help, Elena can finally start making progress—to understand the world around her and find her own way to be independent.
