A message from her mother:

My name is Olga, and I am Antonina's mother. My daughter is only 14 years old, and for several months she has been living in a nightmare that started with a simple fall on the ice.

 

In January, she broke her arm. We expected a surgery, thinking everything would heal and she would return to her normal life. But the treatment was complicated by a severe infection. Her arm swelled up, pus began to form, and after months of procedures, hospitals, and hopes, the infection has not receded.

 

New surgeries followed. Pins. Washout systems. An implant. But the bone is not healing, and osteomyelitis is progressing. Now the doctors say bluntly: major surgery is needed — an external fixator, bone spacers, and then treatment in Germany to clean out the necrotic tissue and reconstruct the bone.

 

As a mother, it is agonizing to look at my daughter's arm and know she could lose it. Antonina is only 14 years old. She should be thinking about school, friends, and plans for the future, not an endless chain of surgeries and this pain that never ends.

 

We have one goal: to save her arm.

 

Doctors give us hope, but ahead lies a hard, long, and very expensive road. Our family no longer has the strength or resources to cope on our own.

 

That is why I am asking you with tears in my eyes: please support us.

 

Any contribution, every share, every response can bring us closer to the surgery on which Antonina's future depends.

 

I beg you, help my child save her arm and finally forget this horror.
