A message from Victor:

Hello. My name is Victor Ovcearenco, and I am 32 years old. I have a loving wife and a wonderful son—he just recently turned two.

Just before the New Year, our world was shattered. I was diagnosed with Stage III colorectal cancer. It is a critical diagnosis: the tumor is aggressive, spreading beyond the intestine to my lymph nodes. Because it is located in a high-risk area, surgery isn't an option right now. My doctors have been clear—time is our greatest enemy, and we have to act now if I am to have any hope of survival. I have already started treatment in Romania, but the costs are staggering. I am facing an exhausting road of chemotherapy and radiation followed by major surgery. Every step of this journey comes with a price tag our family simply cannot meet.

This illness has taken away my ability to work, leaving me unable to provide for my wife and son. They are here with me abroad, my only source of strength and reason to keep going, but their presence also adds to the financial burden we are struggling to carry. We aren’t just asking for help with medical bills; we are asking for help to survive this fight. Every contribution is, quite literally, my chance at life.

It is incredibly difficult for me to ask for help like this. But I am doing it for my son. I grew up without a father—I lost mine when I was only four and a half. I know that hollow silence, and I will do anything to ensure my son never has to feel it. I want to be there to watch him grow.

I am a man of faith, and while my ultimate hope is in God, I believe He often works through the kindness of strangers and the skill of doctors.

I am asking anyone who can support us—whether through a donation, a prayer, or by simply sharing our story—to please do so. Please, do not look away. Even the smallest donation is a lifeline that keeps me in this fight.
