A message from her daughter:

Hello everyone. My name is Ana Caras, and I am writing this with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. I never imagined I would find myself appealing to the world like this, but life has put our family through the ultimate test. I just want my mother to live, and that is why I am reaching out to you today.

Two years ago, cancer completely upended the life of my 56-year-old mother, Ina Iurco. In 2024, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She underwent a total thyroidectomy followed by intensive radioactive iodine therapy in Romania. At the time, we truly believed we had beaten it and the worst was behind us. But in 2025, the nightmare returned with a new diagnosis—this time, gynecological cancer. My mother bravely faced a second major surgery at the Oncology Institute and endured grueling rounds of chemotherapy.

We prayed so hard and truly believed the worst was over. But in the spring of 2026, we received another devastating blow: routine scans revealed the cancer had returned, this time in her left collarbone. The disease is incredibly aggressive now, and the metastases have already spread to the bones. To save her life, she urgently needs a highly complex surgery at a private clinic to replace the affected bone with a prosthesis, followed by another course of radiation therapy in Romania.

While we are pushing forward with everything we have, the reality is that we are struggling now more than ever. I am a registered disabled individual myself, and our family is at a breaking point. We are holding on by a thread, but we simply cannot carry this immense financial and emotional burden on our own. We desperately need your help.

I beg you from the bottom of my heart—please give my mother a chance at life. Give her a chance to stay with us and see her children grow. Neither my sister, my father, nor I are ready to lose her. We are not ready to say goodbye.
