A Message from Tatiana:

Hello, my name is Tatiana Curararu. I am 36 years old and the mother of a 17-year-old son.

In 2016, I was diagnosed with a sacral tumor at the L5-S1 level. I fought hard, underwent treatment and radiation therapy, and for a while, I hoped that I defeated the disease. But unfortunately, it wasn’t the case.

In April 2024, my condition took a sudden turn for the worse. The pain in my back became unbearable, and I started losing mobility in my left leg. After further examinations, doctors confirmed my worst fear—the tumor had started growing again. I underwent surgery and multiple chemotherapy sessions, but sadly, the treatment did not bring the results we had hoped for.

Day and night, I rely on strong painkillers just to endure the pain. My doctors have told me that my only chance is a complex surgery followed by an implant that could relieve my pain and give me a chance at recovery. However, this procedure is only available in Germany, and the cost is far beyond what I can afford.

With all my heart, I am reaching out to you, people with kind hearts. I desperately need your support because, without it, I have no way to defeat this disease and live a life without pain.
